Sudbury Meetinghouse, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Sudbury's historic 1797 meetinghouse and opening it to the community as a gathering place for concerts, lectures, and cultural events.

About Us
Creating Community
In its early life, the meetinghouse was a social and political gathering place. This made the space a hub of activity. Our goal is to return to this sense of community through expanded programs, events, and collaborations.
Join us in this journey to revitalize our local history and foster a vibrant local hub for all artists and residents.
Honoring History
The meetinghouse property and First Parish of Sudbury have a long, rich history dating back to 1797 when the oldest remnants of the current structure were erected. One of the primary goals of Sudbury Meetinghouse, Inc. is the preservation of the property so that people are able to enjoy its beauty and history for decades to come. This requires us to keep abreast of needed repairs and improvements and fundraise toward this end.
Opening doors, honoring history, creating community
Sudbury Meetinghouse, Inc. (SM) is a private nonprofit (501(c)3) incorporated in 2024. SM's mission is to advance the secular use of the First Parish of Sudbury's historic 1797 meetinghouse, support the preservation and improvement of its historic building, open the building to the community for public and private functions, and promote cultural events and educational programs.
